FAQs
About the Event
What is the ANZDATA 50th Anniversary?
A three-day celebration marking 50 years of ANZDATA, bringing together clinicians, researchers, data scientists, consumers, and the broader kidney health community to reflect on the past, present, and future of the registry. The Anniversary event consists of the Datathon (Wednesday) as well as a two-day Symposium (Thursday, Friday). There is a celebration gala dinner on the evening of the first Symposium day (Thursday).
What's the difference between the Datathon and the Symposium?
The Datathon (Wednesday) is a hands-on, team-based data science event using real ANZDATA data, open to anyone who wishes to register. Symposium Day 1 and Day 2 (Thursday and Friday) take a more traditional conference format, featuring keynotes, plenaries and panel discussions celebrating 50 years of ANZDATA and looking ahead to the future of registry science.
Do I need to attend all three days?
Not at all. You're welcome to attend any single day, a combination of days, or the full three-day event, whatever suits you best.
